Elizabeth was born in County Kerry, on the west coast of the Republic of Ireland and then lived for much of her life in the United Kingdom. She now lives in Catalunya, Spain. When not writing and teaching, Elizabeth enjoys travelling, exploring the natural world, and dancing Argentine tango.
